“But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend. You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”–Isaiah 41:8-10 NKJV
When it comes to fulfilling promises, I could never think of anyone who could fulfill His words without finding fault yet will discipline us with all His heart.
The One who has the most comprehensive mercy on His people. The One who rescues us in the unknown places of despair, who reaches His right hand from afar because He heard our cries and pleas. The One who will not condemn us for what we did but will embrace us with forgiveness and deep understanding if we come to Him in truth and repentance.
The goodness of God’s character is abundant. It is beyond to comprehend.
Fear takes an enormous toll on our lives. When this strikes our hearts, it isolates us from God’s promises for us. Fear brings us to the ends of the earth, which are thoughts that take control of our right mind.
It keeps us away from focusing on the voice of God. Fear hinders us from knowing Jesus and being a part of the chosen Nation.
THE CHOSEN NATION
The glorious riches of the mystery hidden are already known to the Nations, which is Jesus inside of us, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-28 NIV). God has shared His kingdom with the Nation for those who will accept Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior (Ephesians 3:6, Romans 10:9-11).
Israel has a special place in God’s heart and a chosen country; however, we are also heirs of God’s kingdom through the Lord Jesus Christ.
“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham.”
The Lord gave Jacob (Abraham’s grandson) a new name, Israel, and became the country’s founder.
Israel is one blessed country that captures the heart of God. In all their journeys and trials they have endured, God never left them.
When Jesus came to save the Nations and generations to come, we were bought with a very high price so we could also be an heir in God’s kingdom like Israel. God extended His love, grace, and mercy to the Nation because He is good and faithful. God’s love never ceases and is limitless.
The line of descendants of Abraham extends through the precious blood of Jesus that covers us up to this age.
And because we are also heirs together with Israel, the chosen Nation, being members together of one body and sharers in the promise of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 3:6), we are to extend this heir to others as well, for those who do not know Jesus and have not accepted Him as God and personal Savior.
GOD WILL RAISE EBENEZER AS YOU SHARE THE GOSPEL.
Jesus is our immediate help. When the Lord made Himself visible spiritually to all His people, unexplainable situations happen, and mostly, these situations are only between you and God.
Not a lot of people would understand the miracles God bestowed upon you. It is hard to comprehend. The Holy Spirit will guide you as you share your testimony and gospel with others.
A black cloud will follow you through fear, but God promised He would be with you when times are unclear, and doubts start lingering in your mind.
Dismay will surround you, especially when people don’t want to listen to your heart for Jesus, but never forget that we follow and serve a big God who owns the universe and controls our lives. They may miss the good news you want to share but just move forward in sharing Jesus with others.
God will renew our strength and confidence to continue encouraging someone. God is raising Ebenezer to His people. Jesus is our stone of help. He is the help and hope of the Nation.

God honors His people who continue to seek Him in truth, have a heart to share the gospel, and love to disciple one another.
Isaiah 41:10 is a good depiction of slaying the fear of sharing the gospel. God promises that for everyone to carry in their hearts, even diving in the depths of uncertainty from the ends of the earth. Worry not, God is our rescuer.
Jehovah Magen, God is my shield, my protector.
